Ian Watkins
Kinetic Founder & CEO
A long track record of success.
Kinetic’s Founder, Ian Watkins, has more than thirty-five years of experience in Procurement and business transformation. He began his career in the late 1980s with John Laing Construction and gained strategic procurement expertise through roles at top-tier global global, blue-chip businesses including GlaxoWellcome / GlaxoSmithKline and several other blue-chip life sciences companies.
Having successfully initiated, implemented, and led high-performing strategic Procurement Shared Service Centres at Amersham Health / GE Healthcare, Allergan Inc., and Eisai Europe Limited, as well as the design and delivery of several high-profile and complex business change programmes, Ian moved away from permanent employment and into consultancy and Interim Management in 2013 with a specific focus on Procurement, commercial real estate, and workplace transformation.
During his Interim career he has worked with clients in a wide range of sectors including pharmaceuticals, medical devices, food manufacturing, consultancy, live broadcasting, private healthcare, as well as print and online media.
Kinetic was created as part of the ongoing development and growth of Ian’s business transformation services, helping organisations to identify business improvement opportunities, develop value-creating strategies, and achieve lasting positive change.
